On Tuesday 14 January 2025, the Department of Earth Sciences of the University of Florence will host the Workshop:

 

Mortars and dating.

The raw materials used in the production of mortars and their influence on radiocarbon dating

 

The meeting, which is completely free of charge, aims to address the often problematic issues related to the dating of types of mortars with different characteristics from different regions of Italy.

The language used will be Italian.

 

The number for in-person bookings is limited to 40 people.

The organisation offers coffee breaks and lunch to participants.

The deadline is 30 November 2024.
